A superb Swedish embroidery tote, reinterpreted in a decidedly contemporary spirit thanks to the combination of thread, sequins, and beads.

Made on an extra fine black Aïda canvas, the decor plays on the contrast between the dark background and the bright blue of the DMC mouliné thread. The geometric pattern characteristic of Swedish embroidery develops on part of the bag and creates an elegant graphic effect.

The composition is completed by a flourish of blue flower-shaped sequins, silver cups, and small silver beads. These elements bring relief, light, and whimsy to the embroidery and create an original transition between the geometric pattern and the floral decor.

The diagram allows for precise tracking of the pattern's progression as well as the placement of the various decorative elements. The flower sequins are themselves adorned with a cup and a bead in their center.

This model perfectly illustrates a modern interpretation of Swedish embroidery: a traditional technique transformed here into a true textile creation intended for a daily accessory.
