A beautiful Swedish embroidery pouch, entirely made from a repetitive geometric pattern and a delicate harmony of colors.

The embroidery is worked on a Zweigart Belfast canvas with Soie 1003 d’Au Ver à Soie®, used double. Six shades gradually succeed each other in the pattern, creating a lovely gradient from deep tones to lighter hues.

The regular repetition of the pattern gives the embroidery its characteristic graphic and rhythmic aspect of Swedish embroidery. The gradual change of colors adds a more contemporary touch and highlights the structure of the design. The diagram precisely indicates the succession of the six colors as well as the ratio of the pattern to be repeated.

Once the embroidery is finished, the model also guides you through the complete making of the pouch. The pattern allows for the correct positioning of the embroidered part on the front before cutting the fabric.

The pouch is fully lined and closed with a 20 cm zipper. A small satin ribbon placed on the side adds the finishing touch.

The different stages of assembly are explained and illustrated with photographs: cutting the fabric and lining, attaching the zipper, assembly, making the bottom, turning it inside out, and finishing touches.

A beautiful project that combines Swedish embroidery and sewing to create a practical, colorful, and entirely handmade accessory.
