Made on a Zweigart Aïda ribbon, this border takes one of the traditional uses of Swedish embroidery: simply embellishing objects and household linens with regular and decorative patterns.

The design combines two colors of DMC floss that complement each other to form a delicate geometric pattern. Repeated throughout the ribbon, it creates a harmonious decorative frieze that dresses the edge of a kitchen shelf with an original embroidered touch.

The embroidery is done with DMC floss used in double. A particularity of the pattern consists of passing twice through the same holes on the central line to form the small "arrows" that structure the design.
