An elegant Swedish embroidery bracelet, which transforms this traditional technique into a true contemporary fashion accessory.

The embroidery is done on a Zweigart Belfast canvas with DMC Diamant D321 thread, used in single. Its shiny appearance adds subtle reflections to the pattern and highlights the finesse of the composition.

The design develops along the entire length of the bracelet in a succession of geometric shapes. The characteristic lines of Swedish embroidery widen and narrow to create a rhythmic pattern perfectly suited to the elongated shape of the jewelry.

The embroidery is enhanced with 76 3 mm cups and 76 gold beads 12/0. Each cup is secured with a small bead, adding relief, light, and preciousness to the whole.

This combination of metallic thread, beads, and cups allows for a reinterpretation of Swedish embroidery in a decidedly modern spirit, while maintaining the geometric construction that characterizes this technique.

Once the embroidery is finished, the model also explains the complete making of the bracelet. Two strips of fabric are cut and then sewn right sides together. The piece is then turned and pressed before attaching the crimp ends and the jewelry clasp.

A beautiful project to discover how a technique of embroidery traditionally intended for household linen can be repurposed to create an original and refined textile jewel.
