The Soie Perlée® Au Ver à Soie is a thread made of pure silk composed of 3 twisted strands, both strong and with a beautiful shine.

Versatile, it is perfectly suited for traditional embroidery, counted cross stitch, cross stitch on linen or silk, and Hardanger. It is particularly suitable for linen fabrics of 12 to 14 threads/cm as well as fine old canvases.

In sewing, its great strength also allows for topstitching, buttonholes, and sewing on buttons, including on thick fabrics and leather.
