The Soie Perlée® Au Ver à Soie is a thread made of pure silk composed of 3 twisted strands, both strong and beautifully shiny.

Versatile, it is perfectly suited for traditional embroidery, counted cross-stitch, cross-stitch on linen or silk, and Hardanger. It is particularly suitable for linen fabrics of 12 to 14 threads/cm as well as fine antique canvases.

In sewing, its great strength also allows for topstitching, buttonholes, and sewing buttons, including on thick fabrics and leather.

A luminous and strong silk thread, ideal for many needlework projects.
