White on Black Souvenirs is a collection of monochrome embroidery patterns with geometric and graphic designs, to be made in white on a black background.

The strong contrast between the white embroidery and the black fabric particularly highlights the lines, interlacing, and geometric repetitions of the different patterns. The overall result is elegant, graphic, and timeless.

The embroidery is done on Zweigart Fein Aïda 3793 / 720 fabric with white Soie de Paris 4098 Au Ver à Soie, used in a single strand.

The different patterns can be embroidered separately and then framed to create small pictures. Together, they also allow for the composition of an original black and white embroidered frame wall, as shown in the model.
