biscornu Pentadecagone

An original model of 3D pentadecagon, made from 15 small embroidered squares that are then assembled.

The same geometric and floral pattern is repeated on the different pieces of fine Aïda fabric with DMC mouliné 720, in a lovely orange hue.

After the embroidery, the 15 squares are assembled using overcast stitch according to the assembly diagram to create this original 3D shape. The piece is then stuffed with batting and tightened at the center to give it its beautiful relief.

This pentadecagon can be used as a pincushion, a small decorative object, or simply as a 3D embroidery project to discover an original assembly technique.
