Miyuki beads are recognized worldwide for their exceptional quality and manufacturing precision. Made in Japan, they are available in many shapes and sizes, including the famous Delica beads, valued for their perfectly regular cylindrical shape.

Thanks to their tubular structure, Delica beads offer a flat and homogeneous surface after weaving. This remarkable regularity makes them particularly suitable for peyote, brick stitch, bead weaving, and beaded embroidery techniques. Their vast color palette allows for creations of great finesse and exceptional precision.

The Opaque Dyed finish is achieved by applying a color to an existing glass base, thus creating particularly rich and original shades. Although these colors are highly appreciated for their intensity and diversity, they may be more sensitive to wear from friction or prolonged contact with the skin.

To enhance their durability, Miyuki applies the exclusive Duracoat treatment, an additional protective coating designed to sustainably preserve the brilliance and stability of the colors. This protection significantly strengthens the durability of the finish compared to classic Opaque Dyed beads.

Due to this additional protective layer, the hole of the beads may be slightly reduced. It is therefore recommended to carefully choose the diameter of the thread and the size of the needle used for your creations.
