Kit de broderie: Yoshimi, pretty Kokeshi

Discover the embroidery kit “Yoshimi, pretty Kokeshi”, a creation by Christel Gouze to be completed in traditional embroidery.

Inspired by the Japanese universe, this lovely model highlights a kokeshi, a small Japanese doll recognizable by its stylized silhouette. The colors and various embroidery stitches allow you to gradually bring Yoshimi and her delicate universe to life.

The design is directly printed with indelible ink on the canvas. No transfer of the pattern is necessary: you can start your work directly by following the instructions regarding the stitches and colors.

The kit contains:

• a canvas printed with indelible ink of 21 × 21 cm;
• the DMC embroidery threads necessary for the completion;
• an embroidery needle;
• the technical sheets indicating the stitches and colors used;
• the explanatory sheets of the different stitches necessary for the completion;
• the color chart of the threads used;
• a visual of the finished work.

The different sheets accompany you throughout the completion and allow you to discover or practice several traditional embroidery stitches.

Once completed, Yoshimi can be displayed in an embroidery hoop to become a lovely textile decoration with Japanese inspirations.
