DMC étoile blanc

The Mouliné Étoile DMC is an embroidery thread that combines the softness of cotton with a delicate shimmering effect. Sprinkled with fine touches of Lurex, it brings light and sparkle to embroideries while maintaining an elegant and subtle appearance, less pronounced than that of a fully metallic thread.

Presented in 8-meter skeins, the Mouliné Étoile consists of 6 separable strands. It is thus possible to adapt the number of strands to the fabric, the stitch used, and the desired effect.

Composition and characteristics

The Mouliné Étoile is made of 73% long-fiber cotton and 27% Lurex/metalized polyamide.

Its structure combines the flexibility of cotton with fine shiny fibers that capture light with every movement. The result is a delicate sparkle that highlights the details of a design without giving an excessively metallic appearance.

Uses
