The Soie Trébizond Au Ver à Soie® is a pure silk cord composed of 3 strongly twisted strands. Particularly round and very shiny, this thread offers an excellent covering power as well as great strength.

About 40% thicker than Soie Perlée, Trébizond has a thickness between that of pearl cotton No. 3 and No. 5. Its diameter is approximately 0.60 mm.

Thanks to its thickness, regularity, and shine, it is particularly suitable for projects requiring a well-visible and covering thread. It can be used for traditional embroidery, sewing, tapestry, and canvas, as well as to add relief and shine to textile creations.
