Very beautiful fine pearl silk from the brand "Au ver à soie", made in France. Assembled from 3 twisted strands, the pearl silk is very pleasant to use for all types of embroidery. Very soft, flexible, and shiny, for all the stitches of traditional embroidery (the post stitch, the knot stitch, the leaf stitch, the flat stitch, the satin stitch, the stem stitch, for example). It can also be worked with a Lunéville crochet (size 90 or 100) as it does not split. The pearl silk is wound on a small reusable wooden spool.
